My friends and I had so much fun. We tried out The Experiment, which was super interesting and challenging. The clock started to run down but we made it out with 11 minutes to spare. Will definitely have to try another one!

We had a lot of fun escaping the experiment room. Very cool concept. Each puzzle led to next until we escaped. Can't wait to try the other rooms. Highly recommend for a hour of fun!

We did Weird Heritage and the Dark Room and they were both awesome! We definitely needed some help to get going but it was so much fun. The puzzles were all really unique and the backstories were cool. I was worried initially that some of the people in the group wouldn’t be into it but everyone had a lot of fun. Also, because the tasks were so varied, everyone got their moment to be the “hero” since we’re all good at different things. It was a really great group activity that I highly recommend.

Our family was in town and looking for something to do to kill some time. We did the experiment room and had a great time. Our host was very good and amusing. We did escape with a few hints from the host. It was the first escape room experience for most in our group, and they all loved it. I would highly recommend.

We had such a great time that we did two rooms. We'll definitely be going back to do the rest. The front door puzzle was by far the hardest.

Cognitive Processing or team building activity

If you Google search “cognition,” a very thoughtful and explanatory definition of the word is provided by Wikipedia.  It is as follows: “Cognition is “the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses.” Cognition, per the above definition, is a very important quality of humanity.  It is what separates us from the animals.  While a dog may think cognitively about getting a treat, humans use cognition to understand science and what it means to be alive.  Truly, cognitive thinking and processing is something that makes humanity what it is today.  Unfortunately, with the constant influx of new technologies, humans have become lazy.  We check our social media accounts frequently and place ourselves in from of the television, allowing for a decline in our deep, cognitive thinking processes. This is where 5280 team building activity Denver comes in.  5280 Room will help your brain dust off the cognitive thinking corners and provide a truly intense, exhilarating, and fun way to get your brain working at full capacity again.  Instead of sitting and watching a mind numbing program, you will be active.  Finding clues to solve interactive team building rooms and working with other individuals to escape will keep your mind active and thoughtful.  You will have to piece together ideas, concepts, and patterns that are normally unfamiliar to you in a high-stress situation that will force your brain to work.

Now, let’s break down the definition of cognition mentioned above.  The first part of the definition is acquiring knowledge and understanding.  While you play the interactive team building activity, you will have to acquire knowledge through the discovery of clues, and then subsequently use these clues to find more clues that will eventually lead you to the key to escape.  The acquisition of knowledge is key in the 5280 Room, for without it you and your team will stand no chance of success.

The second part of the definition of cognition is the process of achieving this knowledge and understanding afore mentioned through thought, experience, and the senses.  In the team building activity, you will have to utilize all three of these things to successfully navigate the mentally treacherous path in the 5280 Room.  You will have to think about the clues, draw from you and your teammate’s past experiences in life and in the room itself, and heighten your sense to really make clear and concise decisions that will lead you to your desired outcome.
