What is the Escape Game?

Escape Room games are live-action puzzle games that originated in Japan by a man named Takao Kato approximately eight years ago in 2008. The games caught on quickly, and within a few years escape games were found in several new countries. This trend most recently came to America, which is where Room 5280 comes in. Essentially, escape games consists of a small team of individuals who complete logical- and critical thinking-based tasks in a seemingly normal room. These tasks will lead the participants to a key to access the exit of the room. Each room offers a different puzzle. You will be locked inside escape room. With your team, you must find hidden objects within the puzzle room that will lead you to clue. These clues, in turn, will lead the group to a key, allowing you to escape! Think it sounds easy? Think again! You and your team will only have 60 minutes to complete your task, and the average rate of completion is twenty percent. Are you up for the challenge?
